Compressed air is an essential element of process systems, and it is important that it is dry and clean to ensure optimum operation of production machines.

Compressed air is generated by the compressor, which draws it in from the environment and increases its pressure and temperature. This air usually contains quantities of harmful substances, such as particles and moisture in the form of steam. Condensation of water vapor causes considerable breakdowns, downtime and cost increases in the various production systems.
